I came up with the idea of the vase stands when I saw these skull heads at the dollar store and needed something to put them in. Add a little moss and some spider webs and you have a nice spooky Halloween decoration for your entry way or mantle (sadly I don't have a mantle, someday, someday).

Here is where it becomes a versatile decoration. Just dump out the skull head and fill it with some pine cones and acorns(collected from outside) add a few fall leaves (also just collect from outside)and for no extra money your table turned from Halloween to fall.

And though it may seem to early to think about Christmas (it will be here before you know it) it can just as easily be converted for Christmas by adding some Christmas ornaments. So there you go for only a few buck and about 5 mins you have a fun decoration to last you all year round.
So now head over to Mommy Creations and checkout what Susan made, you know it will be good she is the one who taught me my crafting ways. While you are there consider sticking around to see my other creations and become a follower.
